NWMI members among Press Council of India awardees

Two members of the Network of Women in Media, India won the Press Council of India’s National Awards for Excellence in Journalism 2023. They were among 15 awardees honoured under different categories.
Navamy Sudhish is the joint winner under the category of Developmental Reporting for her story, POCSO Survivors Left to Fend for Themselves. Remya K Harikumar is the joint winner under the category of Gender Issue Reporting for her series on survivor-friendly court rooms, Oh Themis, open thy eyes (Click here for English version).
