Aiswarya Raj Among Winners of Danish Siddiqui Journalism Award 2026

Aiswarya Raj was joint winner with Dheeraj Mishra for this story in The Indian ExpressRamdev aide Balkrishna gets showpiece Uttarakhand tourism project, for which 3 firms bid — all are controlled by Balkrishna. The citation noted Aiswarya Raj was awarded for “her unwavering dedication to journalism guided by truth, empathy, courage, and integrity.” It said her “work honors the spirit of impactful storytelling and inspires the future of journalism.”

The Danish Siddiqui Journalism Award is instituted by the Danish Siddiqui Foundation in tribute to Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Danish Siddiqui.
