This is an interesting piece speculating on whether women will vote for Nitish Kumar in Bihar because he has initiated so many positive schemes that benefit women during his term. What is interesting about the story is that it notes that while hardly any women attended Modi’s rallies in Bihar, they flocked to those by Nitish Kumar. Whether there is a distinct “women’s vote” will only be known when the results are out but polls have already indicated that men seem to prefer the BJP while more women prefer the Congress, or, as in this case, Nitish Kumar.
