Sahar Zaman Among Winners at Leader of Public Diplomacy Awards

Sahar Zaman, founder and director of Hunar TV channel, and member of the Network of Women in Media, India, was among awardees of the Leader of Public Diplomacy awards given by the World Peoples Assembly. The awards were part of the World Public Summit held in March 2026 in New Delhi, held in cooperation with the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Sahar Zaman, founder and director of Hunar TV channel, and member of the Network of Women in Media, India, was among awardees of the Leader of Public Diplomacy awards given by the World Peoples Assembly. The awards were part of the World Public Summit held in March 2026 in New Delhi, held in cooperation with the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Sahar Zaman won the award under the Media and Communication Diplomacy category. She stated, “In today’s atmosphere of the hate economy and business of divisiveness, I am particularly happy to be recognised at a platform that promotes global peace and shared values as the Founder Director of Hunar TV.”

The World Peoples Assembly is an international union of non-governmental organisations, aimed at being a platform for cooperation between different stakeholders from civil society, business, and government.
