Dhanya Rajendran wins Prof. Maxwell Fernandez Journalism Award

Dhanya Rajendran, Co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of The News Minute and member, Network of Women in Media, India, has been awarded the Prof. Maxwell Fernandez Journalism Award. The award is a recognition of her role in spearheading The News Minute as a credible news platform which effectively harnesses new media technologies. The award is instituted in memory of Professor Maxwell Fernandez, the founding head of the Department of Communication and Journalism at the University of Kerala, and and is presented by his family and the MCJ Alumni Association.
