Nileena Atholi Named Among Kerala Youth Icon Awardees
Nileena Atholi, Senior Sub Editor at Mathrubhumi Digital and member of the Network of Women in Media, India has been named among winners of the Youth Icon Awards 2025-26, instituted by the Kerala State Youth Commission. Nileena received the award in the media category, for “bringing human rights issues, social concerns in Kerala and underreported aspects of women’s lives into mainstream public discourse through research-driven, impactful journalism,” reported Mathrubhumi.
The Youth Icon Awards celebrates young achievers in media, arts, sports, literature, agriculture and business, contributing significantly to society across diverse fields in Kerala.
