The Hindu makes strong comment on rape remarks
The Hindu made a strong comment on the remarks on rape made by politicians like Mulayam Singh Yadav and Abu Azmi of the Samajwadi Party. In its editorial titled “India’s pro-rapist lobby”, it went beyond criticism of the politicians and their remarks and brought out several important points including the bogey about the new law being ‘draconian’.
