Gender, Media and Election Watch, a blog initiated and sustained by NWMI member Ammu Joseph as a space to focus on elections and media coverage of them from a gender point of view, was launched during the general elections of 2014. It has continued to highlight gender aspects of most subsequent elections across the country, both state and national, in addition to keeping an eye on women and politics within India and elsewhere in the world. The blog, which depends on voluntary contributions from network members and occasional guest writers, moved to the revamped website in 2020 and is now managed by a small team of volunteers.
