The 20th National Meeting of the Network of Women in Media, India (NWMI) will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from 6 to 8 February 2026.
This year’s theme is Media at the Crossroads: Independence vs Influence.

Around 150 network members from across the country are expected to attend the meet. The three-day meet will include sessions on Kerala’s gender paradox, palliative care, reporting on violence against women, environment, AI in journalism, women in cinema, workshops, a grand public meeting and much more.

Kerala’s capital Thiruvananthapuram, which has become India’s fastest-growing destination for international visitors in 2025, is also a city where history and cultural harmony blend seamlessly.

This will be NWMI’s second national meeting in Kerala, after an edition in Kozhikode in 2010.
