Madhavi Rajadhyaksha

Madhavi Rajadhyaksha is a journalist now working on governance and policy issues. She has spent nearly eight years with The Times of India, Mumbai. In her last role as Assistant Editor she focused on a wide spectrum of development issues including governance, demographics, health, gender and child rights, labour and migration, urban and rural development, among others.

Madhavi was a 2012-14 Fellow with the Women's Edition (Population Reference Bureau, USAID) for senior-level journalists to examine and write on crucial issues related to women, development and health.

She now leads advocacy initiatives and strategic partnerships at Centre for Decentralised Local Governance, Avantika Foundation, a Bengaluru-based not-for-profit organisation and continues to write.
